No matter what he thinks.
A girl wants foundation, concealer, blush, mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss
But what she really needs
Is acceptance for what she sees in the mirror.
A girl wants to be popular,
She wants to look like them and have people envy her
But what she needs
Is a true friend
With whom she can be herself.
A girl wants that ice cream or that pizza
Because she feels its impossible to be that skinny or pretty...so why try
But what she needs
Is to love her body for what it does
Not the way it looks
And treat it well.
A girl wants so many things
A girl needs so many things
But every girl is different
And every girl is worth it
So never forget
To dream big and tell yourself you're perfect.
